Business Strategy and Planning

People, process and technology are the core components of any business.  Regardless of industry, size, tax status or location — these are the core areas that will make or break your business.

Any misstep across these core areas will cost your business a lot of time and money.  It’s also difficult to attract and retain the right employees without processes and tools, both essential for any employee to understand their responsibilities and meet or exceed expectations.

A THREE STEP PROCESS

DISCOVERY

The first step in our process is to evaluate where your business is today.  We interview employees, customers and take a good look under the hood to see how your business operates.  There are a lot of questions during this process to understand everything that everyone does to keep your doors open for business.

FUTURE STATE PROCESS DEFINITION

The first step in our process is to evaluate where your business is today.  We interview employees, customers and take a good look under the hood to see how your business operates.  There are a lot of questions during this process to understand everything that everyone does to keep your doors open for business.

The outputs of this phase are typically:

  • New or revised job descriptions; hiring new employees, or transitioning current employees into different roles so that you consistently have the right people performing the right responsibilities.
  • Documented processes that define what steps need to be performed by each employee across each functional area of your business.
  • A clear understanding of the tools and software that are required to operate your business more efficiently and effectively.

TRANSITION

This process involves making the changes required to take your business from its current state to desired end state.  We act as project managers throughout this phase to ensure that the entire transition is pain free and profitable for your business.  This is an option phase, as some clients may have internal resources to manage a transition plan.
